Jewels Academy Programming Available to Volunteers:

Virtual Math Tutoring: Volunteers would work with students in grades 4th-8th with concepts through Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus.

Young Emerging Scientist Program: Volunteers would assist instructors during in person or virtual camps focusing around different aspects of STEM.

Local Outreach: Volunteers would attend different events in the Des Moines / Central Iowa area to connect with students and share information about STEM and Jewels Academy.

Community After School Programming: Volunteers would assist instructors during after school events with the Des Moines Public School system.

BizInnovator: Volunteers would assist instructors in a college prep program with the University of Iowa emphasizing business and leadership skills. Career speaker needed!
